Dr. Jonathan Wall is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice since 1999. His practice involves preparing parenting-time (custody) evaluations, guardianship, and violence risk and spousal risk assessments for court. He also provides individual, family therapy, reunification intervention, divorce coaching, and parental coordination for families.
Certified as a neuropsychologist through the Fielding Institute, Dr. Wall’s referrals from family court often involve evaluating and testifying in regards to parents or children afflicted with neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental issues. After graduating with a Bachelors’s and Master’s in History (with a specialization in psychohistory) from the University of Pennsylvania, he received his doctoral training in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. He is certified in both Family Mediation through the NJ Assoc. of Prof. Mediators and in New Ways for Families by the Institute for High Conflict.
Dr. Wall consults and provides evaluations for the Carrier Clinic, the Department of Children Protection and Permanency (DCPP), the Office of Parental Representation, and various law firms throughout the state. He once worked in correctional facilities for both women and young men as well as in hospitals and clinics. An avid outdoorsman, he leads family outings for the Sierra Club.
Dr. Wall currently serves on New Jersey Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee and once chaired the Forensic Committee for three years. He keeps his skills current by attending courses sponsored by the Association for Family and Conciliation Courts, the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Collaborative Law Group, and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
